2027 Women's World Cup guide · host city 04 of 08 Brasília
Seven matches at the Mané Garrincha, the second largest stadium of the tournament, set in the middle of a city that was drawn before it was built. Brazil play their third group match here.
Asa Sul
Neighbourhood 01 of 06The residential half of the Plano Piloto, laid out in superquadras with everything at ground level. Bakeries, bars and shade, no hotel of its own, and the Setor Hoteleiro about a kilometre and a half up the wing.
The superquadras have no hotels of their own: in Brasília lodging was designed into the Setor Hoteleiro, about 1.4 km from the northern blocks of Asa Sul. That is a walk, not a taxi ride.
From Asa Sul to the stadium. The nearest station is 1.89 km from the gate, which is a walk or a very short transfer. Still faster than driving on match day. Photography slots are reserved: no stock imagery.
Zero days of rain
in ten years of records
Not a rounding: zero per cent for this window. June and July are the dry season on the plateau, and the air gets dry enough to matter. Days reach 25.3 C and nights fall to 14.6 C, with a record of 9.4 C. Drink more water than you think you need.
